AI-Assisted Grading helps teachers grade student assignments faster by using AI to review and score online-text submissions. Once enabled, the system evaluates each student's submission and suggests a grade, which teachers can review and apply with one click. (This plugin is available for the Teacher role only.)

Step 1:  Go to Course Page → More → AI Assisted Grading

Step 2: You'll be redirected to the AI-Assisted Grading panel, where you'll see the assignments inside the course that have submissions ready to be graded.


You will see the following information in the panel:

  1. Assignment – the name of the assignment inside the course that contains submissions ready to be graded.
  2. Submissions – the students who have submitted their work for that assignment.
  3. Grade with AI – an action button that triggers AI to automatically grade eligible submissions.

Note: AI-Assisted Grading currently only supports online-text submissions. Other submission types (e.g., file uploads, offline activities) are not supported by this plugin.

Step 3: Click Grade with AI. Students who submitted their assignment as online text will be automatically graded by AI. Review the AI-generated grades before finalizing them.
