AI Report Assistant lets you ask a plain-language question about your course and get an answer grounded only in safe, pre-computed reports such as inactive learners, low-submission assignments, and underperforming quizzes. The AI never runs live database queries; it only draws from these pre-computed reports. (This plugin is available for the Teacher role only.)

Step 1:  Go to Course Page → More →  AI Report Assistant

Step 2: You'll be redirected to the AI Report Assistant panel, where you'll see an overview showing the course's current health and setup.


You will see the following information in the panel:

  1. Course Health Overview – a snapshot of the current setup and status of the course.
  2. Export – an option to export a spreadsheet of course attempts and related data.
  3. Ask a Question – a field where teachers can type plain-language questions (e.g., "Which learners are at risk this week?") and receive answers grounded in the pre-computed reports.

Step 3: From this panel, you can view the course health, export a spreadsheet of course attempts, and more. You can also type a plain-language question in the field provided, for example, "Which learners are at risk this week?" and the AI will respond with an answer based on the pre-computed reports.
