Step 1: Create A CSV File

For Cohort1 Confirm that the required cohort already exists, Obtain the Cohort ID Number by navigating to: Site Administration > Users > Cohorts

For Course 1 Confirm that the relevant course is already created. Get the Short Name of the course by navigating to: Course Page > Settings

Identify or create the Group Name to be used within the course, Ensure the group name is clearly defined and consistent for accurate assignment
Step 2: Upload CSV File
Access the Upload Users, Navigate to: Site Administration > Users > Upload Users.
In the file upload area, select and upload the prepared CSV template containing user details, Click on the Upload Users button to proceed. Ensure that the CSV template is formatted according to system requirements to prevent upload errors.

Step 3:Configure Upload Settings
In the Settings section make sure to select Add new and update existing users , choose Email Address as the matching criterion and Click Upload Users to initiate the process

Step 4: Review and Confirm
Review the Upload Results to identify any errors or inconsistencies and Confirm the successful creation and updating of user accounts and lastly click Continue to finalize the upload process.
